When cold weather approaches it’s time to protect your lawn sprinkler system from the frigid temperatures.
Winterizing your system is a click or a phone call away.

Should you decide to do it yourself:
  • Blow out your sprinkler system before the first freeze hits!
  • Don’t use an air compressor rated higher than 80-90 psi.
  • Make sure the air compressor you are using does not deliver compressed air at a velocity greater than 10 cubic feet per minute (cfm), or risk damage to plastic pipes.
  • Even if your sprinkler system has a drain, don’t assume it will be enough to protect your pipes from freezing.  These pipes still need to be blown out!
  • Leave the test cocks and valves on the backflow preventer open halfway to allow the water trapped behind the seats to drain.

When in doubt…hire a professional!
