Irrigation System Maintenance Schedule
1. Spring Irrigation Start-Up
- Flush Backflow Assembly
- Turn on and run thru all zones
- Check each head and adjust as needed
- Program timer
- Check battery
2. Summer System Check-up
- Inspect system to verify that it is watering at peak performance
- Evaluate coverage to lawn, beds, and shrubs
- Check and adjust heads as needed
- Check Rain Sensor
- Program timer if needed
3. Winterization of System
- Shut off system valve
- Drain and blow out system and Backflow Assembly
- Shut down controller
4. Backflow Prevention Device Certification Test (click here for more information)
This is required by local ordinances and is done annually. This test will be done when the client is notified by the authority. Please call our office after receipt of notice from authority for scheduling (normally you will not receive this notice, as we will test before notice is needed).
You are also provided additional benefits and savings with an annual service agreement as follows:
Priority scheduling when emergency visits and repair work need to be done
Priority scheduling for new work such as moving heads, controllers, reconfiguration of system, etc.
Special discount- 10% off on labor and materials if repairs are needed
